The Museum
of Jewish Heritage is considered to be a living memorial of the Holocaust. The
institution pays a tribute to the lives of Jewish people in the 20th
century. Through the various programs and events the museum offers an overview
about the people who sacrificed their lives for framing the civilization. The
exclusive collection of the museum comprises of their pictures, personal
belongings, photographs, and the original videos that show their lifestyle.
The whole
of the collection reflects the evolution of the Jewish community and society,
their success, principle, hope and victory. All these values are inherited by
the present Jewish race.

Morgenthau building usually hosts special events, exhibitions and educational
shows that are held in the
Museum of Jewish Heritage. The museum offers an overview on three basic themes:
Jewish Life a Century Ago, Jewish Renewal and The War Against the Jews. The
building is a six-sided shaped with a tiered roof signifying the six million
Jews who died in the mass destruction and the six points of the Star of David.

Hours of
operation
The Museum
of Jewish heritage welcomes all the people to know more about the origin of the
Jewish Race. On Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday the museum is accessible from 10a.m.
to 5:45p.m. On Wednesday from 10a.m. to 8p.m. On Friday the time is from 10a.m.
to 5p.m except on special Fridays and eve of Jewish holidays the timings are
from 10a.m. to 3p.m.
The museum
remains closed on Saturdays, Jewish holidays and Thanksgiving Day.

Admission:
Children
under the age of 12 require no entrée fees. In general the fees structure is:

Wednesdays from 4 to 8p.m.

Education:
The
Museum of Jewish
Heritage provides the
educational zone with immense material, which in turn aids the teachers to
teach. The students of high school, undergraduate and graduate programs can do
their internship under this museum. The teachers can also organize workshops,
trainings and guided classes.

Collections:
The
museum’s exhibition revolves around objects and pictures, and the films that

museum’s collection is based on three historical themes each one of them is
featured on the separate floors. The museum’s core exhibition includes around
2000 photographs, 24 original documentaries and 800 historical and cultural
articrafts.

It covers all the articrafts and photographs which tell us about their life. The
museum tells us the story of Jews conflict in the countries of Europe, hatred
and violence between the communities. It also relates the story of their
survival, isolation and unbelievable hardships. Basically it relates to the
struggle of men and women across the regions.

Rentals:
This
exclusive space is given in rent for special occasions like receptions,
meetings, conferences, celebrations and other programs. Rentals are also
provided for special exhibitions and theatre programs. The Morgenthau Annex
offers the outstanding sight of the Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty, this
newly constructed building provides accommodation for 10 to 400guests.

families. Several English, Spanish, Russian audio tours are also available. The
museum also has a café for public refreshment.
