Each year the event brings the best of the horror film genre to the Big Apple. During one of New York City’s most festive times, The New York City Horror Film Festival gives over sixty filmmakers and scores of fans the opportunity to come together and celebrate Halloween, independent film, and most importantly, New York City!
The festival kicks off each October; with a huge industry party at one of the city’s premiere hot spots, followed by five days of screenings, celebrity appearances, and an incredible panel discussion, all at the prestigious Cantor Film Center at NYU
