Comcast Building
Description
Known high and low as "30 Rock" (as immortalized by the sitcom of the same name), this Art Deco tower anchors Rockefeller Center. The Comcast Building (previously known as the GE Building) has been NBC's headquarters since its doors opened in 1933 and houses studios for many of the network's shows, including Saturday Night Live, Today and The Tonight Show, which recently returned after a 42-year stint in L.A. But even if you can’t snag a ticket to a taping, you can wander into the lobby and check out the grand interior (and mural by Josep Maria Sert), take the full Rockefeller Center tour, or head up to the Top of the Rock observation deck for a bird's-eye view.
