Description
Members of GANYC, one of the oldest U.S. guides associations, are licensed by the Department of Consumer Affairs; it is illegal to conduct a tour in NYC without such a license. All adhere to a strict code of ethics. Members work as step-on bus guides, private tour guides, tour managers, language interpreters, airport/pier meet-and-greeters and at hospitality desks.
