Covers area of 1.8 million square feet. Architecture features reflective glass exterior that mirrors New York skyline by day; at night, interior lighting gives the structure a transparent quality. The building offers tremendous structural flexibility. Floor-to-ceiling acoustical dividing walls allow up to 11 individual halls to be created from 814,400 total square feet of exhibit space. Three of the halls have built-in sound systems; two have additional acoustical wall capabilities that allow for meeting rooms within the exhibition area. Special features: 15-story, 60,000-square-foot atrium (Crystal Palace) entrance, 40,000-square-foot Galleria/River Pavilion overlooking the Hudson River, 3,200-seat Special Events Hall with permanent stage, balcony seating, built-in sound system. The center also provides 65,000 square feet of dedicated registration space with terrazzo floors, onsite kitchens to prepare 10,000 meals simultaneously, 50 covered loading docks and six drive-in ramps to exhibition floors.
