The Bronx Walk of Fame

Description

This 23-block corridor snakes along the Bronx’s Grand Concourse and features street signs bearing the names of famous borough residents. Started in 1997, elections for new inductees are held annually—famous honorees include Jake LaMotta, Rita Moreno and Neil deGrasse Tyson. The Bronx being the birthplace of hip-hop, there are many famous rappers among the group, including Fat Joe, Swizz Beatz, Funkmaster Flex, Slick Rick, Remy Ma and KRS-One.
