University Heights Bridge

Description

This four-lane swing bridge (which also boasts a sidewalk) runs from West 207th Street in Manhattan to West Fordham Road in the Bronx, and was built for just over $1 million in 1908. Designed by Alfred Pancoast Boller, it is fairly short compared to most other New York bridges, clocking in at just 268 feet long.
