Diese Block-Spannstruktur ist ein zertifiziertes National Public Landmark und veranstaltete 1913 die avantgardistische Art Armory Show sowie (jüngst) Roller-Derby-Spiele und Victoria's Secret Fashion Shows – und sie ist immer noch der Hauptsitz der 69. Infantry Division der USA, auch bekannt als Fighting 69th (ein Name, der ihnen von Robert E. Lee verliehen wurde).
