Burg Belvedere
Beschreibung
Das Belvedere Castle wurde 1865 von Calvert Vaux und Jacob Wrey Mould als viktorianischer „Folly“ entworfen und liegt hoch auf dem Vista Rock, der zweithöchsten natürlichen Erhebung im Central Park. Neben dem Betrieb als Besucherzentrum bietet das Schloss (mittiger Park in der 79th Street) einen ausgezeichneten Blick auf den umliegenden Park.
