Beschreibung
Seit 1970 dient das Black Spectrum Theatre Königinnen und beherbergt Bühnenproduktionen, Filme und darstellende Künste, die dazu beitragen, Probleme innerhalb der afroamerikanischen Gemeinschaft zu fördern und auf sie aufmerksam zu machen. Das Theater dient auch als Film- und Videostudio und wird an aufstrebende Künstler in der Community vermietet. Zu den Alumni gehören Iris Wilson (Haupttänzerin in Fela! des Broadway) und Schauspieler Mario Van Peebles.
