Mehr als zwei Drittel der 358 Hektar großen Flächen des Cunningham Park sind ein Wildreservat für Waldlebensräume, Naturbecken und Wasserkocherteiche für sensible Wildtiere. Der Park bietet auch Möglichkeiten für Sport- und Freizeitaktivitäten wie Bocce, Cricket, Baseball und Basketball, Radfahren und Grillen. Im Park finden auch jährliche Aufführungen der New York Philharmonic statt.
