Yefsi Estiatorio, a Greek restaurant on Manhattan's Upper East Side, features an upscale selection of souvlaki, seafood, and Greek Mediterranean cuisine. When chef Katerina Efthymiadou creates the ever-changing menus and cooks the dishes, she's sitting at a table with her mother in their horio (village). The traditional recipes from western Greece use the freshest herbs, spices, and of course, lots of olive oil to bring out the flavor of Greece. Yefsi is open for lunch on weekdays, brunch on weekends, and dinner seven days a week.
