Der Name Extra Fancy stammt vom Etikett einer Würzflasche, was die hohen und niedrigen Ambitionen des Restaurants signalisiert. Die Speisekarte mit rohen Bars und Meeresfrüchten sowie die umfangreiche Auswahl an Cocktails, Wein, Bier und Cider sind sehr ernst; sie sind nur gering, da der Treffpunkt eine entspannte Rock-'n'-Roll-Atmosphäre hat. Er wurde wie eine Vintage-Muskelshack und -Bar entworfen und ist stilsicher mit Narragansett-meets-Brooklyn. Dies ist das erste Restaurant von Mark Rancourt (Macao Trading Co. ), Partner David Brilliant und Getränkedirektor Robert Krueger ( NurMitarbeiter ).
