If the most gorgeous and heavily curated Instagram feed were suddenly made three dimensional, While We Were Young would be the result. “Girly” is the theme here, and pastels rule: baby blue barstool seats, pink banquettes, red and mauve rose petals strewn about. Cocktails with names like Summer Fling and The Morning After are tonally sweet and beautifully presented. The food menu—for weekend brunches and dinner—leans toward New American and features an omnivorous selection. The space is petite so be prepared for a wait during peak eating hours.
