Art of Freedom: The Life & Work of Arthur Szyk

The Museum of Jewish Heritage – A Living Memorial to the Holocaust unveils Art of Freedom: The Life & Work of Arthur Szyk its Rita Lowenstein Gallery, an exhibition focused on celebrated anti-fascist artist Arthur Szyk (1894–1951). Featuring more than 100 works, including original drawings, illuminated manuscripts, rare prints, political cartoons, and ephemera, the exhibition explores powerful illustrations that championed Jewish identity, Zionism and universal freedom, all elements that defined Szyk’s career.
