En su vigésimo octavo año, el Brooklyn Film Festival continúa mostrando las películas independientes más vanguardistas mientras atrae la atención hacia Brooklyn como centro de cine. El festival de este año se celebrará en Windmill Studios en Greenpoint y en el Wythe Hotel en Williamsburg, así como en línea, con 160 películas compitiendo por 30 premios.
