The Knickerbocker

Descripción

Initially opened in 1906 by John Jacob Astor IV, designated an official NYC Landmark 1980 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1988, The Knickerbocker Hotel has welcomed famed guests like F. Scott Fitzgerald, Theodore Roosevelt, and John D. Rockefeller, and it's rumored to have been the birthplace of the martini. A full renovation in 2015 reimagined this upscale destination for a contemporary era of luxury. The property features 330 guestrooms and suites, a comprehensive fitness studio, and event space for up to 250 guests. Its five food and beverage offerings include its signature restaurant Charlie Palmer Steak IV, The Martini Lounge, Jake's Coffee Shop, St. Cloud Rooftop, and its rooftop sushi bar, Akoya.
