Ethyl’s Alcohol and Food

Descripción

Ethyl’s harks back to a New York City of yesteryear—the 1970s to be exact—when this town was covered in bit more glitz, glam and grime. Chef-owner Paul Gerard is the rare NYC native, and he built this retro-gazing bar in the image of a place that once nurtured punk rock, 42nd Street peep shows and Studio 54. The walls are crowded with photographs of stars from the era, with icons like Andy Warhol, Iggy Pop and David Bowie. Cocktail names like The Sleazy Mustache and Bump & Grind let you know you’re in the right spot, and there’s plenty of beers and spirits to choose from. There are also $5 drink and food specials every weeknight, DJs spinning tunes, go-go dancers and roller girls, and live music on the weekends.
