Una noche en the Stonewall Inn

En el verano de 1969, una redada de rutina en un bar gay de West Village se convirtió en un punto de inflexión en la historia LGBTQ+ y provocó una revolución. Poco más de 50 años después, el Stonewall Innfue nombrado el primer monumento nacional LGBTQy hoy sigue siendo un bar y club nocturno activo, con horas felices, karaoke, espectáculos de cabaret, una mesa de billar y baile. Atrae a una multitud diversa de lesbianas, hombres gays, personas transexuales y heteroaliados de toda la ciudad de NYC y el mundo.



En 2019, justo antes de que WorldPride llegara a NYC para celebrar el 50 aniversario de Stonewall, charlamos con los clientes durante la hora feliz en el bar principal y el karaoke y la fiesta debaile de chicas rockerasNATIONnyc, un evento mensual, en la planta superior.
