Daisy May's BBQ USA

Out of Business

Descripción

After a tour of the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum or before braving the Lincoln Tunnel, pull up to Daisy May's for barbecue that rocks. It's even worth going out of your way. Jumbo beef ribs, succulent pork ribs and beer can–style chicken are matched with calorie-laden, mouthwatering fixings. It's a great place for groups, where you can feast on a whole or half pig (order in advance). There are three long, communal tables, a few stools for solo diners—and not much to look at other than sports pennants and two flat-screen TVs. To drink, try the sweet tea (the beer and wine selection is modest). Keep a lookout for celebrity chef Adam Perry Lang's pushcarts peddling barbecue around the City, including one on 50th Street between Sixth and Seventh Avenues.
