Elsie Rooftop

Twenty-five stories up in Midtown is where you’ll find the penthouse bar Elsie Rooftop, named after Elsie de Wolfe who was known as an interior decorator for penthouses in the 1920s. This elevated bar boasts high ceilings, antique mirrors, gold metal walls, Versailles parquet flooring and a blue marble bar top. Bespoke cocktails pay homage to Elsie de Wolfe’s era, like her namesake drink and the Windsor. The cocktail menu features shareable plates created by celebrity chef David Burke featuring American classics with a high-end twist, such as grilled cheese with caviar, miso shrimp cocktail and artisanal flatbreads.
