Florence Prime Diner is the brainchild of three longtime Elmhurst residents who, after decades working in the NYC's restaurant business, realized they wanted to offer a fresh, high-quality yet relaxed dining experience to their Elmhurst neighbors. Their philosophy: use locally sourced, seasonal ingredients to create classic brunch and lunch dishes with a modern twist, like hearty South American quinoa salad, grass-fed burger blend with Mexican chorizo, or fresh dough shrimp scampi pizza with fine herbs. The result is Florence, a bright, welcoming space that has become a favorite with locals since opening in early 2022.
