Local tech guys, their sleeves rolled up, pile in at lunch to pick up tasty Northern Chinese–style sandwiches to bring back to their desks. The white-brick, contemporary space is tiny, but it has a few stools along two counters dressed up with jars of fresh flowers. In addition to buns filled with spicy pork, chicken or short rib with kimchi are salads, cold sesame noodles, wontons and dumplings. By the cash register there might be a basket of tempting homemade green tea butter cookies. And tea drinks have a heavy presence on the beverage list.
