Descripción

Miss Lily’s 7A, in the East Village, offers delicious island cooking, friendly staff, a sunny vibe and Caribbean flavor. There's a brand new culinary program under the new culinary director, Brittney "Stikxz" Williams, a Queens native with deep Jamaican roots. Chef Stikxz brings a dynamic perspective to the kitchen, blending innovation and tradition to redefine contemporary Caribbean cuisine. The new menu features modern versions of classic Miss Lily’s dishes, like jerk chicken, peppa shrimp, and oxtail stew, along with new, globally-inspired dishes with Caribbean influences like Blue Mountain Coffee rubbed lamb; Haitian fried snapper with stew peas and pikliz aioli; jerk mushroom lettuce wraps; and seared salmon rundown. For desserts, chef Stikxz has tapped Janae Haynes—a Trinidadian-Guyanese American pastry chef who built her career in renowned NYC restaurants, including Nobu, The Modern and Dovetail—to design the pastry menu. Dessert highlights include ackee cheesecake and chocolate plantain flourless cake.
