Streetbird Rotisserie

Out of Business

Descripción

The multicultural Marcus Samuelsson showcases his Ethiopian-Swedish-Harlem lineage at Streetbird Rotisserie, a vibrant diner a few blocks from his flagship restaurant, Red Rooster. The hip-hop design includes sneakers and drum kits hanging from the ceiling, vivid collages and an interactive boom-box installation that you can listen to via headphones as you wait for a table. Rotisserie chicken is the main event, but there's also piri-piri-spiced catfish salad with avocado, luscious mac and cheese, collard greens and a Swedish-themed dessert called "sweet dog," a hot dog shaped brioche filled with almond paste and whipped cream. Beer and rum-based cocktails are popular with patrons.
