This tranquil and beautifully designed space serves as tiny bookstore, coffee shop and neighborhood bar. It stocks a small but thoughtful collection of used books and specialty magazines plus stationery and art supplies from Japan. The bar serves a range of hot and cold teas, kombucha, wine and beer; you can also munch on pierogi and dumplings. If the weather’s good, check out the equally chilled backyard, where poetry readings, meditation classes and book club meetings are held.
