The Scholastic Store in SoHo is much more than a retail bookstore filled with a full selection of Scholastic products, including books, toys, puzzles, CD-ROMs, videos and games. It’s also part library, part indoor play space and part movie theater, offering a full array of hands-on activities for children and families each month. Kids will love the store’s giant displays featuring Clifford the Big Red Dog, Harry Potter, Miss Spider, Captain Underpants and other Scholastic favorites, plus a Magic School Bus they can step into. And parents will love that books are divided by age and interest; the large selection of bilingual offerings; and the fact that many of the items for sale are educational.
