PATH (Port Authority Trans-Hudson)

Descripción

Originally the Hudson and Manhattan Railroad, PATH (Port Authority Trans-Hudson) is a heavy rail rapid transit system that serves as the primary transit link between several stations in Lower and Midtown Manhattan and neighboring New Jersey urban communities (Newark, Harrison, Jersey City and Hoboken) and suburban commuter railroads. Midtown’s 33rd Street  station (on Sixth Avenue, in Herald Square) is one block from Amtrak and NJ Transit located at NY Penn Station, and PATH’s other branch originates at the World Trade Center. Connections are also available from Newark Airport.
