Description
August 18 marks the centennial of the ratification of the 19th Amendment, which provided some women with the right to vote. The Women’s Suffrage NYC Centennial Consortium, which comprises cultural organizations across the City, is offering a series of virtual and in-person events and programs to commemorate the anniversary and the fight for equality that continues to this day. A selection of exhibits will remain on view once museums and other cultural organizations are allowed to reopen. Follow #WomensSuffrageNYC for the complete list of programming.
