Description

Hero of the American Revolution Marquis de Lafayette was also an important figure during the Gilded Age due to his 1824–1825 tour of the United States—when he visited every state in the union. CultureNOW, the Lower Manhattan Historical Association and Sons of the Revolution present this hybrid symposium at Fraunces Tavern Museum exploring Lafayette's role in shaping our country. Speakers include authors, professors and historians.
