5th Annual Juneteenth Freedom Festival

Description
Staten Island commemorates Juneteenth with this annual festival in partnership with Snug Harbor Cultural Center & Botanical Garden and Staten Island’s leading Black-led organizations. The theme of "Family Reunion" encourages the community to come together for a celebration of culture, history and unity. The day includes a Libation & Candle Lighting Ceremony, live music and dance performances, art exhibits and cultural displays, food and a vendor market. A health and wellness village will be available, offering services for the mind, body and spirit. Children can enjoy many activities with free admission to the Staten Island Museum and Staten Island Children’s Museum.
