Description

Marking the 250th anniversary of Jane Austen’s birth, this exhibition tracks her rise from an imaginative and ambitious teenager to a beloved author of international fame. It provides new perspectives on her life and legacy through artifacts from her house in Chawton, England, along with manuscripts, books and artwork from the Morgan—plus loans from other collections.
