Description

Travel back in time to explore the regions and artistry that influenced the ancient Greeks. The Met Museum’s exhibit, Across Wine-Dark Seas: Art and Identity beyond Ancient Greece, showcases more than 180 works created during the eighth to early fifth century BCE when maritime trade allowed for new cross-cultural exchange. These artworks are organized geographically, demonstrating the connectivity of the ancient world.
