Description
Celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act
This summer, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) marks the 30th anniversary of its enactment. In honor of ADA 30, the NYC Mayor’s Office for People with Disabilities is hosting a virtual celebration throughout July. The festivities include online experiences from attractions that provide accessibility to a variety of audiences, including parks tours and the Disability Unite Festival, both with audio description, captioning and American Sign Language. Explore the complete lineup of ADA 30 events at nyc.gov and discover more ways to explore New York City online through Virtual NYC.
