Description
Sherald, best known for her portrait of first lady Michelle Obama, gets a comprehensive solo show that demonstrates her cultural impact far beyond that piece. The exhibit comprises nearly 50 paintings from the past couple of decades, including that Obama portrait; one of Breonna Taylor, a Black woman killed by Louisville police; and numerous never-before-seen works.
