The Baruch Performing Arts Center presents this special three-week event. Director Jessica Bauman, who has worked with refugee communities from New York City to Kenya, has reimagined Shakespeare’s play as a story about refugees. The show stars professional actors along with non-professionals from New York’s refugee and immigrant communities. The production is full of non-verbal storytelling and music making it a great introduction to those who are unfamiliar with Shakespeare.
