Description

Spain’s artistic traditions were driven in part by the Christian, Muslim and Jewish populations that called the region home. This exhibit, which focuses on a 200-year portion of Spain’s Middle Ages, showcases how objects and artistic themes crossed religious boundaries. It was during this time that there was a shift in power between Christian and Muslim rulers, a period coinciding with the Crusades happening elsewhere.
