Description
Officially inaugurated in 1983, BAM’s annual Next Wave Festival serves as New York City’s most daring survey of avant-garde music, theater, opera and dance. This year’s festival features 11 events including a recreation of a 1963 interview between noted choreographer Martha Graham and critic Walter Terry; a 50th anniversary celebration of the Pratt Institute’s Franklin Furnace avant-garde art archive; and the post-rock opera What to Wear.
