Description
Officially inaugurated in 1983, BAM’s annual Next Wave Festival serves as New York City’s most daring survey of avant-garde music, theater, opera and dance. This year’s highlights include works from BAM favorite playwright and director Tiago Rodrigues, Anne Bogart’s adaptation of Charles L. Mee’s Prelude, the Philip Glass Ensemble performing the Einstein on the Beach 50th anniversary concert and the multidisciplinary collaboration Minor Music at the End of the World, which serves as the festival’s concluding event.
