Description

In August 1776, the first and largest battle of the American Revolution unfolded in what is now Brooklyn. Drawing on primary sources from the Center for Brooklyn History,The Battle of Brooklyn: Fought and Remembered tells the story of this turning point, giving the events of the battle new relevance. Artifacts, archival documents and rare maps help bring it to life 250 years after the fact.
