Beatrix Potter: Drawn to Nature
This event has already occurred
Description
The pastoral characters that Beatrix Potter created are based on the author’s own life and her time spent in Scotland and England’s Lake District. As the show’s name indicates, she was indeed drawn to nature, becoming a sheep breeder and land conservationist and leaving 4,000 acres of her Hill Top Farm to the National Trust. The exhibit encompasses works from the Victoria & Albert Museum and the National Trust as well as items from the Morgan’s own collection.
