Description
The third leg of the Triple Crown—by far the area’s biggest horse-racing event—takes place in Elmont (yes, that’s Elmont, just east of Queens—not Belmont, the Bronx neighborhood). The festival lasts three days, culminating with the Belmont Stakes on Saturday, June 8—for which it costs only $20 for general grandstand admission. Attendees can also enjoy live music, food trucks and craft beer.
