Big East College Basketball Tournament

Since 1983, the Big East Men’s Basketball Tournament has been a can’t-miss event with lively student and alumni cheering sections and memorable performances by greats like Patrick Ewing of Georgetown and Chris Mullin of St. John’s. This season, players from those schools and the rest of the conference—Butler, Creighton, DePaul, Marquette, Providence, Seton Hall, Villanova, UConn and Xavier—will vie for bragging rights and an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. This marks the 44th consecutive year the tournament has been held at Madison Square Garden.
