Description
This unique show started out at the Public Theater and now makes its way to the West Village for a sit-down run this fall. Jomama Jones, a larger-than-life character created and played by Daniel Alexander Jones, tells stories and belts songs in this powerhouse solo performance that touches on African American themes and gets some of its musical inspiration from Diana Ross, Tina Turner and Prince. Through sultry original tunes and a deeply personal narrative, the show immerses audiences in Jomama’s extraordinary world.
