Blazing a Trail: Dorothy Waugh’s National Parks Posters
This event has already occurred
Description
Dorothy Waugh’s work for the National Park Service marked a change in American graphic design. While Waugh was initially hired as a landscape architect, she was also a working artist—one that advocated for the NPS poster campaign in the 1930s. This exhibit is the first dedicated to the series, which comprised 17 pieces, and its creator.
