Description

Part of the museum’s bicentennial events, this yearlong installation celebrates the institution and its impact on the cultural landscape. It’s broken into three chapters, including the development of the museum's collection, from archival items to well-known works from artists such as Kaws and Tourmaline; pieces by artists working in Brooklyn today; and gifts given to the museum in honor of the centennial.
