Description

Get into the Halloween spirit with Boo at the Zoo, taking place at the Bronx Zoo Saturdays and Sundays from late September to late October, with a bonus day on October 14. The festival includes family-friendly activities such as a Halloween maze, animal-themed stilt walkers, magic shows, costume parades, an extinct-animal graveyard, pumpkin carving and live music. Of course, visitors can also get an up-close look at all the creepy critters on display within the zoo. Tickets for a specific day must be purchased in advance. The days coincide with Pumpkin Nights, so families can have spooky fun after dark (note these require separate tickets).
