Brookfield Place Celebrates WorldPride

Luxury shopping, dining and culture complex Brookfield Place celebrates WorldPride throughout the month of June with a variety of art installations and special events. There is theThrive public art exhibit in the Pavilion made of up rainbow-colored balls in a whimsical, Instagrammable display at the main entrance (facing the World Trade Center). Later in the month, from June 25 through July 1, a colorful, interactive installation will be happening on the Waterfront Terrace. The terrace also hosts a WorldPride happy hour event on June 27, the same night a special exhibition opens in the Winter Garden from the WorldPride/Stonewall 50 AIDS Memorial Quilt Initiative, with original panels of the AIDS Memorial Qulit on display. Throughout this monthlong celebration, Brookfield Place will pledge $1 to the Hetrick-Martin Institute for each @BFPLNY and #BFPLpride hashtag posted to social media.
