Description

The brainchild of Pony Cam, an Australian theater collective that must have an excellent resting heart rate, Burnout Paradise invites the audience to watch in awe and slight horror as four performers jog live for 40 minutes. The show hinges on a wager with the audience; can our performers finish a series of tasks that get increasingly difficult as they are running down the clock? With a total runtime of 65 minutes, this brief performance invites the audience to question their idea of “success” in a world that feels designed to spin off its axis at any moment.
