Description

Among the highlights this season at Carnegie Hall are Valery Gergiev conducting the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra and Mariinsky Orchestra; the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra’s return to Carnegie for the first time in 25 years; and Galilee Chamber Orchestra’s Hall debut. Yannick Nézet-Séguin appears with the Philadelphia Orchestra and Met Orchestra, and Jaap van Zweden and Susanna Mälkki take turns conducting the New York Philharmonic. There’s also a citywide festival exploring Afrofuturism and a return of the Perspectives series featuring Jon Batiste and Leonidas Kavakos.
